HeiQ is excited to announce the appointment of Julien Born as CEO of HeiQ AeoniQ™ Holding AG, a newly established independent subsidiary designed to attract investors and value-chain partners. 

This move comes as HeiQ AeoniQ™ embarks on a bold multi-year plan to scale up the world’s first climate-positive cellulosic filament fiber. 

Julien Born brings exceptional leadership and deep textile industry expertise, having recently served as CEO of The LYCRA Company, a global leader in textile innovation.

With its transformative potential across industries such as apparel, footwear, automotive, home textiles, and aeronautics, HeiQ AeoniQ™ is set for its first commercial production by the end of 2026 at a new 20,000m² manufacturing facility in Portugal, part of an €80M investment.
